Community Benefits
McTaggart Construction goes beyond bricks and mortar to ensure each new housing development brings value to the local community beyond the life cycle of the build.
Through continuous engagement with local stakeholders and partners we aim to deliver a programme of support and opportunity for residents and community organisations within Selkirk.
Our Community Benefit programme is focussed on the following themes:
-
Education and curriculum support
-
Work placement provision
-
Jobs creation
-
Community development
-
Opportunities for Scottish Borders Business
Targets and outcomes will be agreed for the Heather Mill project that support the needs of the local community and aims of Scottish Borders Housing Association.
